TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By booking at BB Studios (“our”, “us”), the hirer (“you”, “your”) agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below

1. Bookings & Payments

  • Once your booking has been added to our calendar, you will receive an email confirming all details. BB Studios operates with a flat All-Day Rate plus bond.

  • A $100 bond is required at the time of booking and will be refunded to the card on file following your studio session, provided that all terms and conditions have been adhered to. The refund will be processed only if the studio is left in good condition, with no damages or excessive cleaning required. Please note that any damages or violations of the terms may result in deductions from the bond to cover necessary repairs or cleaning fees.

  • Note: The bond may take between 5-10days to appear back in your account

2. Rescheduling and Cancellations

  • Bookings may be rescheduled up to 7 days before your booking date.

  • Rescheduling your booking needs to be approved by BB Studios and agreed upon in writing, subject to availability.

  • Cancellation of a confirmed booking less than 72 hours from the booking date will result in a refund of 75% of any payments made for the booking or a replacement date booked at no charge

  • Cancellation of a confirmed booking less than 48 hours from the booking date will result in a refund of 50 % of any payments made for the booking before the cancellation.

  • Cancellation of a confirmed booking less than 24 hours from the booking date will forfeit all payments made for the booking before the cancellation.

  • No-shows or unused bookings are not eligible for credit or refund.

3. Studio Access & Use

  • BB Studios is a self-service studio. Access is provided via a secure door code, sent via email before your booking. You are responsible for ensuring all members of your group understand and follow studio access procedures. The studio must be left clean and in original condition. Cleaning equipment is provided for your use if required. You may rearrange furniture for your shoot, but all items must be returned to their original position before leaving.

4. Studio Rules

  • No smoking, illegal substances, or open flames are permitted inside the studio. No glitter, confetti, or smoke machines are permitted unless prior written approval is given. Music must be kept at a reasonable volume to respect nearby businesses and residents. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

5. Damages & Liability

  • You are fully responsible for any damage caused to the studio, furniture, equipment, or property during your booking.

  • A fee may be charged for any cleaning, repairs, or replacement required after your session. BB Studios is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during your booking and use of the space.

6. Insurance

  • BB Studios does not provide insurance for your session, equipment, or personnel. We recommend that photographers and professionals hold public liability insurance and/or equipment insurance if necessary.

7. Photography & Content Use

  • You are welcome to photograph and film within the studio, provided it is for lawful purposes. BB Studios reserves the right to request the removal of content that was obtained in violation of these terms.

8. Permitted and Prohibited Content

  • BB Studios is a creative, inclusive, and lawful space. By booking our studio, you agree to comply with all relevant state and federal laws of Australia regarding the content you produce on-site. All content produced at BB Studios must comply with the Australian Classification Code, Broadcasting Services Act 1992, and any applicable local council regulations. Filming involving minors without the required parental/guardian consent and compliance with the Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act 1998 (NSW)

9. Cyclorama Wall Use – Terms & Conditions

  • The cyclorama ("cyc") wall at BB Studios is a premium feature of our creative space. To maintain its quality and functionality for all users, the following conditions apply to its use:

  • The cyclorama wall is available for use in Studio 1 during your booked session. ALL Clients , photographers , equipment and props must NOT be within 50cms of the curved wall at all times . Children must be supervised on the cyclorama at all times

To preserve the integrity of the cyclorama wall, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Shoes with dirt, heels, or black soles that may leave scuff marks or damage the surface .Dragging props, furniture, or gear across the surface.Painting, drawing, or altering the wall in any way without written permission .Use of confetti, glitter, fake snow, oils, liquids, or other messy materials .Jumping, running, or excessive movement that may cause wear or cracks

Damage & Cleaning Fees

  • Any deep marks, scuffs, chips, or damage to the wall may incur a cleaning / repainting or repair fee that may exceed your bond.

  • You are encouraged to notify BB Studios staff of any prior marks or issues at the start of your session.

  • If you're unsure about what is or isn’t allowed, contact us before your shoot.

  • Clients may request a fresh coat of white paint in advance (additional charges apply).

10. Use of Social Media Content & Image Rights

Client Ownership

  • All images, videos, and content created by the client (you), or by photographers or creators you hire, remain 100% your intellectual property.

  • BB Studios does not claim ownership of your creative content.

Permission to Share

  • By booking BB Studios, you grant us optional, non-exclusive permission to repost or share your publicly available content on our social media platforms and website for the purposes of promoting BB Studios. This includes reposting images, stories, and reels where, BB Studios has been tagged or mentioned in your post and content is publicly posted on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok

  • We will always credit the creator and/or tagged account when reposting your work.

  • If you would prefer that we do not share your content under any circumstances, just email us at hello@bbstudios.com.au — we completely respect your wishes.

BB Studios Content

  • Any original content created by BB Studios (e.g., behind-the-scenes footage, marketing shoots, studio tour videos) remains the property of BB Studios.

  • Clients may share BB Studios content for promotion, provided they do not alter or misrepresent the brand or location.

  • We reserve the right to request the removal of any post that misrepresents the studio, falsely claims endorsement, or breaches our brand guidelines.

11. Privacy

  • Your personal details are used only for booking and communication purposes.

  • We will never share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

12. Breach of Terms

  • Failure to comply with these terms may result in the termination of your session, refusal of future bookings, and/or additional charges.

  • BB Studios reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.

By booking and using BB Studios, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
